Proto Man has to be one of the most depressing videogame characters ever. Dude just can’t catch a break. I spent WAAAAAYYY too long on this comic…which is why there was no comic yesterday. I tried forever to color it and I never ended up with anything I liked better than black and white. I also drew and concepted this whole thing while listening to The Protomen, who, in case you don’t know, have written two entire albums dedicated to an epic, rock opera retelling of the Mega Man story.
