Hey everybody! I don’t usually use this tumblr for anything but Magical Game Time comics, but I thought I should let everybody know that I started a new original webcomic!

It’s called Escape From Burgertown and you can check it out here!

I love making video game comics, but I also love working on my own original stuff, so I’m really excited about this! I hope you enjoy it and I promise not to bug you cool people again with it (too much)!

I’m selling a set of Four custom brushes for Manga Studio 5!

They’re pay what you want (min.$1), so check ‘em out if you’re a MS5 user!

WARNING: These brushes ONLY work in Manga Studio 5! THEY WILL NOT WORK IN MANGA STUDIO 4!)

These are the four brushes that I use almost every day. The set includes:

1) ZAC PEN - My go to pen for the majority of my work these days.

2) ZAC SCRIBBLE - A pen I use for hatching, and is more similar in quality to what I was using during the earlier days of Magical Game Time.

3) AWKWARD PENCIL - A neat pencil tool that I built to replicate the sort of push and pull of a sharp/dull pencil. Some people find it a bit awkward, hence the name.

4) COLOR FORMS - My favorite pen for making simple, rough-edged line-free art.

My contribution to Jordan Rosenberg’s Ice Pokémon zine. It’ll feature a bunch of dope artists and you should probably snatch one up as soon as possible before they sell out.

I really like the idea of presenting the more humanoid Pokémon in a way that still shows their animal nature, so I drew this group of Smoochums as younglings being protected by a herd of Jynx on a walk through the mud.

A while ago, I drew a little pic of Cloud and Red XIII leaning on a railing together. For the heck of it, I tried to imagine what sort of conversation they were having annnnnddddd then I remembered that Hojo tried to force Aeris and Red XIII to mate in captivity. True story. It’s in the game. Look it up. I’d blocked it out of my mind as well.

Sorry for the prolonged absence! I’ve been crazy busy working on a ton of awesome new projects! You’ll see soon!

I thought that the this first panel of this Pikmin comic might make a cool phone background so I took out text and sized a couple for you! If you have a phone with a different aspect ratio these should still work because they’re a little oversized and could be cropped easily!

This comic was inspired by a Superbrothers article (presented by Brandon Boyer) that really hit home for me. I wanted to challenge myself to write a wordless Zelda comic that sort of played with the subtle magic of the series; exploring, discovering mysterious caves, etc.
