Hello everybody,

Happy 4th of July! You may have noticed the name change–please do NOT panic!

First of all, you can still find me at the same url (just type idrawnintendo.tumblr.com into your browser and see for yourself), secondly, and I cannot stress this enough…this is and will continue to be the same blog as it always has been! There will STILL be Zelda comics and goofy animations! But, I have been advised several times over that it is neither wise nor prudent to include the name of the company which you are “inspired by” when you are selling products that may or may not be infringing upon this or that or blah, blah, blah…Look, I didn’t go to law school because I was too busy playing video games and drawing cartoons, but the gist of it is that using company names can lead to unnecessary trouble.

On the plus side however, I felt that the name somewhat restricted my subject matter anyway because sometimes I want to draw something inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog or Battle Arena Toshinden (not really) and those things fall outside the vernacular of Nintendo.

Anyway, it is only because you guys have been awesome and I’ve been getting so much traffic that I even thought this move was necessary. So, hopefully this doesn’t freak anybody out because it will be exactly the same sort of content only more of it, and definitely more prints–and I think that’s a good thing.
